Art Meets Career: Grades 8 & 9 Explore Artistic Culture and Vocation
On the occasion of World Art Day, the students of Grade 8 and Grade 9 concluded their artistic units on Street Art/Mural and Landscape Painting with an inspiring encounter with artist Adriana Hajj. After attempting to reproduce some of her works, the students had the opportunity to watch the artist paint a landscape live. This project fostered creativity, artistic culture, and career exploration in the arts, aligning fully with both the Artistic and Cultural Education Pathway and the Careers Pathway.

كلوديا بروكولا": إطلاق فيلم قصير في سابقة فنية تربوية لبنانية
في سابقة فنية تربوية لبنانية، أطلقت مدرسة سيدة اللويزة – زوق مصبح الفيلم القصير "كلوديا بروكولا"، من كتابة وإخراج منسق المسرح الأستاذ جورج الريس، وبطولة طلاب وأساتذة الفرع الإنكليزي. الفيلم يروي قصة زوجة بيلاطس التي توسلت لعدم إصدار حكم الموت على يسوع، لكنه خضع لضغط الحاخامات وخوفه من القيصر. تم تصوير العمل في دير مار بطرس – كريم التين. تجربة واعدة جدًّا في مجال التربية الفنّيّة المدرسيّة.
Au fil du temps
Les élèves du cycle 2 ont brillamment présenté leur fête scolaire théâtrale intitulée "Au fil du temps." En remontant les aiguilles du temps, ils ont entrepris un voyage fascinant à travers toutes les époques de l 'histoire depuis l'ère glaciaire jusqu'à nos jours, illustrant des évènements majeurs sur la frise chronologique d'une manière ludique. Culture et art étaient au cœur de cette représentation magnifiquement enrichis de chants, de danses vibrantes et de saynètes agrémentées d'une touche d'humour, ce qui a captivé l'ensemble du public. Ce projet fait partie intégrante du parcours d’éducation artistique et culturelle. Cette activité a semé la joie dans le cœur des grands et petits. Cet évènement restera gravé comme un souvenir inoubliable pour tous ceux qui y ont participé et assisté.
مسرحية "الملك يموت"
قدّم طلاب الصفوف الثانوية - الفرع الفرنسي أداءً رائعًا في مسرحية "الملك يموت"، من تأليف يوجين يونسكو وإخراج الدكتور مارسيل غصن. الناقد والخبير السنيمائي والمسرحي إميل شاهين أثنى على العمل واعتبر أنّ ما قدّمه التلامذة يلامس مستوى جامعيًّا متقدّمًا، وكذلك أستاذ الأدب الفرنسي جورج مهنا أُعْجِب بالطاقات الشبابيّة الواعدة. وقد أُعجب الجمهور بأدائهم وقدرتهم على تجسيد هذا النص المسرحي الصعب. نحن فخورون جدًا بطلابنا لما قدّموه من عمل مسرحي متميّز وذي مستوى احترافي عالٍ.

Celebrating CNDL's Award-Winning MUN Delegation From diplomatic debates to coming up with solutions to global issues, every moment of our GCLAUMUN journey has taught us valuable lessons: diplomacy, teamwork, global awareness, leadership, etc. Though the Final Conference is now over, we are leaving an experience like no other behind. This year, our Middle School and High School delegations have managed to secure 13 awards out of 18, achieving an outstanding school record and a standard for the years to come. A special thank you to our advisors throughout both programs, without whom none of this would’ve been possible: Julie Khalil, Michèle Atallah, Marilynn Kmeid, Angelina Chehade, Chelsea Lahoud, Ghinwa Akiki, Maria Sassya, Manalida Ephrem, Elie Baroud, and Clara Mhanna. At the end of the day a delegation would be nothing without its delegates. Grade 11 & 12 students visited NDU for an Open Doors event, a valuable step in their orientation journey. They explored programs, met faculty, and gained insight into future academic and career pathways.

Projet X
Nos élèves de 1re et Tle F ont brillamment représenté notre établissement lors de la compétition inter-établissements organisée aux Saints-Cœurs d’Ain Najm. Leur projet, intitulé « Projet X », a été unanimement salué pour sa qualité, son originalité et la rigueur de sa présentation. Nous les félicitons chaleureusement pour leur engagement, leur créativité et leur travail exemplaire. Bravo à toute l’équipe pour ce bel accomplissement qui fait honneur à notre établissement !
Spelling Competition
On Thursday, May 8th, excitement filled the air at CNDL as the English Department in the FRENCH SECTION hosted a vibrant and fun-filled Spelling Competition for the students of CM2, 6ème, 5ème, and 4ème. Cheers, applause, and plenty of spelling buzz echoed throughout the event as brilliant young spellers took to the stage to showcase their language skills!
الثقافة جسر بين الأجيال
نظّم طلاب الصفّ السابع الأساسي رحلة ثقافيّة مميّزة إلى بلدة الفريكة، حيث زاروا متحف الأديب الكبير أمين الريحاني، أحد أعلام الأدب والفكر العربي. كان في استقبالنا الأديب أمين ألبرت الريحاني، ابن شقيق الكاتب، الذي نقل إلينا بروحه وشغفه إرث عمّه الكبير، وعرّفنا إلى مراحل حياته وإنجازاته التي لا تزال تُلهم حتى اليوم. ولأن التاريخ لا يُروى بالكلمات فقط، تابعنا رحلتنا إلى دير مار يوحنّا الصابغ في الخنشارة، حيث تُعرَض أول مطبعة عربيّة تأسست عام ١٧٣٢، فغصْنا في عمق حضارتنا واعتزازنا بجذورنا الثقافية. نهار مفعم بالمعرفة، أغْنينا فيه عقولنا، وملأنا قلوبنا بحبّ لبنان وتاريخه العظيم.

على وَقْع بركة الأباتي ادمون رزق المريميّ ووصايا رئيس المدرسة الأب حنا طيّار وحنين ملكة جمال لبنان ضيفة الشرف ندى كوسا وتوجيهات راعي الاحتفال رئيس بلديّة زوق مصبح الأستاذ إيلي صابر ووداع الطلّاب وذكرياتِهم تخرَّج فوج السلام 2025 في مدرسة سيدة اللويزة وسط تصفيق الأهالي والجمهور وتشجيع الفعاليات الدينية والمدنيّة الحاضرة، وكانت هدايا ومكافآت وشهادات وأنخاب وتمنّيات.

اختتام الأنشطة لهذا العام
في جو من الفرح والحماس تم عرض لوحات فنية ورياضية تضمنت الرقص والجمباز والالعاب القتالية على مسرح مدرسة سيدة اللويزة بحضور الأب الرئيس والأب الوكيل والمديرة التنفيذية ومسؤولي الأنشطة واهالي الطلاب . كما تضمن الحفل عرض فيديو لأنشطة متنوعة ولوحات رسم من تنفيذ الطلاب المسجلين في الأنشطة . وفي نهاية الحفل أشاد الأب الرئيس بما أنجزه الطلاب التي تراوحت أعمارهم من ٤ إلى ١٥ سنة ، وشكر الأهل لتوجيه أولادهم نحو الأنشطة لما في ذلك من منفعة فكرية وصحية لأطفالهم . وفي النهاية تم توزيع الميداليات على جميع المشاركين

This graduation isn’t just an ending — it’s a beautiful beginning filled with endless possibilities. We are so proud of every brave heart and curious mind. فتيات اللويزة يتوّجن بطلات لبنان للمدارس
بكل فخر واعتزاز، كرّمت مدرسة سيدة اللويزة منتخب الإناث في كرة القدم المصغّرة، بعد عام استثنائي تُوّج بالحصول على سبع كؤوس: خمس منها للمركز الأول واثنتان للمركز الثاني. جاء هذا التكريم خلال احتفال مميّز حضره كل من الأب الرئيس، الأب الوكيل، الأب المرشد، السيّد شربل سلامة الذي قدّم بدوره لفتة تكريمية للاعبات، الأستاذ شربل مسن، إضافة إلى أهالي اللاعبات ورفاقهن. وقد أثنى الأب الرئيس في كلمته على الجهود الكبيرة التي بُذلت لتحقيق هذه الإنجازات، موجهًا الشكر لكل من ساهم في هذا النجاح، وعلى رأسهم مدرّب الفريق الأستاذ ربيع ديب. واعترافًا بعطاءاته ومسيرته الطويلة، قدّمت له الإدارة درعًا تكريميةً تقديرًا لجهوده المستمرة منذ ٢٩ عامًا في قيادة لعبة كرة القدم داخل مدرسة ونادي اللويزة. ومن تكريم إلى آخر، يواصل منتخب الإناث لما دون ٢٠١٠ حصد الإنجازات، فبعد تتويجه بلقب بطل محافظة جبل لبنان خلال حفل رسمي حضره رئيس المدرسة الأب حنا طيار وعدد من مسؤولي وزارة التربية في كفرشيما، تم تتُوّيج المنتخب أيضًا على عرش بطولة لبنان للمدارس لهذا العام بحضور معالي وزيرة التربية السيّدة ريما كرامه ووكيل المدرسة الأب فرنسوا نصر.
Fusing History, Science, and Art for a Tangible Future
Tangible Future, a powerful project that took a breathtaking journey through time, built by the bold minds of our Grade 9AP English Section. From the mystery of Egyptian civilization, to the majesty of Middle Age cathedrals, to the grit of trench warfare, our students fused art, sciences and history into one powerful interdisciplinary vision. Adding to this journey, our brilliant Grade 4, 5, and 6 AP students also presented a thoughtful segment on pollution, reminding us that building the future means protecting our planet. A special thank you to our distinguished NDU jury, whose wisdom and presence gave this experience lasting meaning. And an endless gratitude to our dedicated teachers and coordinators. Your passion lit the spark behind every creation.

Sous une pluie d’étoiles, nos Louaiziens et Louaiziennes de GS ont vécu un moment plein de joie et d’émotion, entourés de Ghinwa et de leurs proches. Un instant de fierté et de tendresse, marquant le début d’une belle nouvelle aventure.
إطلاق فريق نادي اللويزة للسباحة للمشاركات الاتحاديّة
بحضور ورعاية رئيس المدرسة ورئيس نادي اللويزة الأب حنا طيار، جرى إطلاق أكاديمية نادي اللويزة بإدارة الأستاذ جورج يزبك – Lebanese Swim Academy (LSA)، كما تمّ إطلاق فريق السباحة لنادي اللويزة الذي سيشارك في البطولات الاتحاديّة لهذا الموسم. شهد الحدث حضورًا لافتًا من الأهالي، بالإضافة إلى مدير المجمّع الرياضي السيد شربل مسنّ، وأمين سر نادي اللويزة السيد جهاد لويس. جاء هذا الإطلاق ضمن إطار بطولة هدفت إلى تنمية القدرات الرياضية لدى الناشئين، وألقى الأب طيار كلمة شدّد فيها على دور الرياضة في صقل شخصية التلامذة وتعزيز روح التنافس البنّاء.

بعد أداء مميز، تُوّج منتخب مدرسة اللويزة بطل لبنان للمدارس في كرة القدم المصغّرة، إثر فوزه المستحق في المباراة النهائية على بطل محافظة الشمال، مدرسة البلمند، بنتيجة 5 - 0 ألف مبروك للفريق والجهاز الفني على هذا الإنجاز الرائع، مع التمنيات بمزيد من التألق والنجاحات المستقبلية!

Lower Elementary Students Honor the Blessed Virgin Mary
Our Grade 1, 2, and 3 students wrapped up the month of May with hearts full of love and devotion. They honored our Blessed Virgin Mary with hymns, spiritual dances, and a beautiful flying Rosary. They prayed, praised, and held Mary close to their hearts. May she bless them and their families with peace, joy, and grace.

توّج قسم الفنون مشروعه الثقافي السنوي للعام الثاني على التوالي بحفلٍ تكريمي بعنوان "مرايا تعكس إبداع الياس الرحباني". قدّم خلاله عدد من تلامذتنا عروضًا غنائية وعزفية لأعماله الخالدة، في لفتة وفاء لمسيرةٍ فنية أثرت الذاكرة الثقافية اللبنانية والعربية.
Beauty and the Beast – A Captivating Journey Brought to Life
The students of Gr. 5 and 6 transported us into the magical world of Beauty and the Beast with a performance that was nothing short of enchanting. Their journey began with watching the film, studying each character’s personality, gestures, and emotions to bring authenticity to every role. Countless hours were devoted to rehearsing lines, perfecting scenes, and adding life to every moment on stage. From casting the roles to choosing stunning costumes, designing an imaginative set, and crafting a fairytale atmosphere—every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. The result was a breathtaking performance that left the audience in awe. With passion, creativity, and teamwork, the students truly brought this timeless tale to life, creating a memory that will be cherished by all who witnessed it.
Éveil Culturel et Partage en Famille
Au mois de mai, les élèves des classes de CM1 ont vécu un beau moment de partage avec leurs parents, autour d’une action éducative et conviviale intitulée « Floraison et Espérance ». Organisé dans le cadre du parcours d'éducation artistique et culturelle (PEAC), cet événement a rassemblé petits et grands autour de diverses activités : mathématiques, langues, éducation physique ainsi qu’un atelier culinaire. Les parents ont participé avec enthousiasme aux jeux proposés, partageant avec leurs enfants rires, découvertes et complicité. Ce moment, à la fois ludique, pédagogique et culturel, a permis de renforcer les liens entre l’école et les familles dans une ambiance chaleureuse et bienveillante.
تكريم الأوائل والمتميّزين للعام الدراسي 2024 - 2025
في احتفاليَّة كبرى، كرَّمتْ إدارة مدرسة سيّدة اللّويزة تلامذتها الأوائل في الصفوف المتوسّطة والثانويّة، كما هنّأت التلامذة الذين شاركوا وتميّزوا في أكثر من نشاط غير أكاديمي من بينها ال MUN للعام 2025، ولقد ألقى رئيس المدرسة الأب حنا طيّار كلمة شجّع فيها المكرّمين نحو مزيد من التألّق، وشكر الأهالي على ثقتهم بالمدرسة ودهمهم لأولادهم.

Cette performance remarquable honore toute la communauté CNDL, qui vous a accompagnés, encouragés et vus grandir jour après jour. Vous êtes l’âme de notre école, la preuve vivante que passion, rigueur et ambition mènent au sommet.
Un début d’année marqué par la messe de rentrée et une séance instructive inspirante
En ce début d’année académique, la famille louaizéenne s’est réunie pour la messe de rentrée, un moment de prière et de partage pour confier à Dieu notre mission éducative. À l’issue de la célébration, le Père Supérieur du CNDL, Père Hanna TAYAR, a adressé à la communauté un message profondément motivant : « Nous ne sommes pas de simples transmetteurs de savoirs ni de compétences numériques. Nous sommes des passeurs de valeurs et des bâtisseurs d’humanité. Dans un monde façonné par les algorithmes, gardons nos élèves enracinés dans la responsabilité, le respect et l’empathie, tout en leur ouvrant des ailes d’innovation et de pensée critique. » Que cette nouvelle année soit une aventure riche de sens, de bénédictions et d’humanité auprès de nos élèves. Ensemble, faisons de nos classes des lieux de racines et d’ailes, où la technologie sert la chaleur des relations et la grandeur de l’esprit.

Leçon de Vie et d'Humanité à l'Association Barbara Nassar
Une visite, à la fois, remplie d’émotions et de découvertes vécue à l’Association Barbara Nassar. Nos terminales ont expérimenté la joie du partage, la valeur du don et la beauté des petits gestes de bonheur. Un moment de cœur à cœur gravé à jamais dans la mémoire.
L'écho d'une volonté
Ce n'est pas seulement un mois, c'est un serment. Les jeunes des classes terminales ont converti leur engagement et leur créativité en un geste de vie, offrant un soutien essentiel aux combattantes du cancer du sein. Un rappel puissant : le dépistage est notre première victoire.

À 11h15 précises, les élèves du CNDL ont fait une pause magique pour prendre part au « Quart d’heure de lecture national ». 15 minutes suspendues, où chacun s’est plongé dans son livre, prouvant que la lecture unit, apaise et fait voyager, même au cœur de la classe.

قداديس افتتاح للعام الدراسي ٢٠٢٥ - ٢٠٢٦
بشفاعة مريم سيّدة اللويزة، احتفلت مدرستنا بقداديس افتتاح السنة الدراسيّة لمختلف الأقسام بين ٦ و ١٠ تشرين الأوّل. تأمّلنا خلال احتفالاتنا بالشعار الروحيّ لهذه السنة "يسوع هوّي الينبوع"، متوقّفين على قيَم يسوع الإنجيليّة: المحبّة، الصدق، العدل، الرحمة والانتباه للآخر. صلّينا كأسرة لويزيّة كي تكون كلمة الله هذه السنة نورًا لحياتنا، قلوبنا وكلماتنا فننير مِن خلالها مجتمعنا والعالم.

L'ensemble éducatif, le comité EDD, les écodélégués ainsi que toutes les classes engagées dans le projet "Championnat du Liban du jardin pédagogique" expriment leur fierté d'avoir gagné le prix spécial pour l'écojardin, intitulé "Le jardin le plus libanais".
مئوية منصور… مرايا تعكس الابداع
احتفالًا بمئوية منصور الرحباني، توّج قسم الفنون مشروعه التربوي «مرايا» باحتفال ثقافي وفني جمع الموسيقى والمسرح والرسم والشعر والرقص، مستوحى من الإرث الرحباني الخالد. حضر الاحتفال غدي وأسامه الرحباني، والشاعر هنري زغيب الذي قدّم شهادة مصوّرة عن صداقته العميقة بمنصور، إلى جانب نخبة من الفنانين والممثلين والشخصيات الثقافية.

لقاء ملهم يجمع الوزير دميانوس قطار بطلاب الصفوف الثانوية الثالثة في ذكرى عيد الاستقلال، تشرّفنا في مدرسة سيدة اللّويزة باستضافة معالي الوزير الأستاذ دميانوس قطار، الذي التقى بطلابنا في الصفوف الثانوية الثالثة. نقاش ثري حول الوضع الاجتماعي والاقتصادي في لبنان، وخبرات ملهمة لشبابنا نحو بناء مستقبل واعد.
Independence Through Little Hands & Big Hearts
Our Independence Day celebration this year was truly special Moms and kids came together for a joyful day divided into 10 creative workshops. They crafted a beautiful map, wove with yarn, explored soap making, prepared traditional food, enjoyed sports games, and enjoyed dancing dabke.
...أنا لبناني، ووطني لبنان
بهالكلمات البسيطة، عبّر أطفال الروضة عن حبّن الكبير لوطنن، لبنان. احتفلنا بعيد الاستقلال بقلوب فرحة ومليانة انتماء: من الدبكة للعرض العسكري الرمزي، من الأناشيد الوطنية لزراعة شجرة الزيتون، رمز السلام والصمود. لبسوا الطربوش، تزيّنوا بالتراث، غنّوا، رقصوا، فرحوا... وحلموا بلبنان أجمل. واكتملت الفرحة بضيافة لبنانية أصيلة: حلاوة، راحة، بسكوت وطربوش... متل أيام زمان.

Où est ton cœur ?
Dans le cadre d’une action citoyenne, les élèves des classes de CM1 et CM2 ont exprimé leur attachement au Liban d’une manière originale et symbolique. En se repérant sur la carte géographique de notre pays, chaque élève a placé un cœur sur le caza correspondant à son village natal, affirmant ainsi son identité locale et son appartenance à la nation. Ce moment fort a été partagé par les Révérends Pères, la Directrice Exécutive des affaires pédagogiques, la Directrice d’école et les spécialistes qui, eux aussi, ont marqué leur origine en déposant leur cœur sur la carte. L'activité s’est déroulée dans une atmosphère chaleureuse, rythmée par des hymnes et des chants patriotiques qui ont renforcé le sentiment d’unité et de fierté nationale.
Mystery of the Poison Artist Chemistry Competition
Among 32 schools and over 300 participants, CNDL shines once again — we proudly take SECOND PLACE! Our Grade 10 learners represented CNDL with remarkable brilliance at the NDU Chemistry Competition held on Friday, November 14, earning an outstanding 2nd place among top-performing schools. Their achievement reflects excellence, scientific rigor, teamwork, and unwavering dedication.
Une belle sortie d’automne
Les petits aventuriers de MS et GS en mission automnale. Entre les feuilles qui volent, les glands à ramasser et le pique-nique sous les arbres, la journée était déjà belle… mais encore plus chouette avec les nouveaux amis du collège Notre Dame de Louaizé-feytroun. Vive les sorties partagées et les fous rires en plein air !

KG2 students enjoyed reading the story “The Lost Scarecrow,” eagerly discussing the characters and events together. Afterwards, they worked as a team to build their own scarecrow in class, bringing the story to life through hands-on creativity.
A Story of Success
CNDL is proud of Alumna Michella Rustom for her groundbreaking research in developing the first wireless, drift-free, camera-less, on-body sensor network for real-time motion tracking. Michella is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Southern California, applying her expertise in integrated circuits to advance healthcare, from ingestible to wearable technology.
انتصار جديد للتعليم اللبناني
بكل فخر واعتزاز، نُهنئ تلميذنا الموهوب إيفان فادي معلوف لحصوله على مرتبة 2nd Runner Up في المستوى Basic Level ضمن المسابقة الدولية للحساب الذهني الفوري UCMAS التي أُقيمت في تبليسي - جورجيا! لقد رفع إيفان، إلى جانب زملائه الأبطال من لبنان، راية الوطن عاليًا في هذا المحفل العالمي. هذا الإنجاز هو ثمرة جهده وعمله الدؤوب.
Hommage et Félicitations : Un Projet Remarquable !
Un vif et sincère hommage est adressé aux élèves de la S2S pour la qualité remarquable de leur travail mené autour du thème de l’Habitat. Leur implication exceptionnelle, leur esprit d’équipe exemplaire et leur créativité débordante ont donné naissance à un projet véritablement riche, original et porteur de sens. Cette réalisation concrète témoigne d’une réflexion aboutie et d’une volonté collective de s’investir pleinement dans une démarche pédagogique ambitieuse.
لقاء البابا لاون الرابع عشر
لم تستطِع ساحة بكركي أن تسع فرحة شباننا، شابات وشبان مدرسة سيدة اللويزة الذين شاركوا في حفل لقاء البابا لاون الرابع عشر. إنها المرة الأولى التي يشارك فيها هؤلاء الشابات والشبان وقد اعتبروها تاريخية. لقاء جمع السماء بالأرض ورأس الكنيسة مع أبنائه، بحسب تعبيرهم. واللحظة القمة كانت عندما مرّ قداسة البابا من أمامهم، لحظة لم يكونوا لِيتخايلوها أن تتحقّق. بارك الله شبيبة لبنان، بارك الله شبيبة مدرسة سيدة اللويزة، بارك الله لبنان وأنقذه من الويلات.
Des cœurs sur scène !
Nos élèves du secondaire ont tout donné sur scène ! La compétition était d'un niveau incroyable, grâce à leur engagement total et leurs efforts non-stop : beaucoup de sueur, des répétitions intenses et des costumes magnifiques. La danse, c'est bien plus qu'une compétition, c'est une affaire de discipline et de pur plaisir. Un immense merci à l'artiste et chorégraphe célèbre, Charles Makriss, d'avoir été notre juge. Nous avons aussi été super inspirés par la danseuse Mme Rebecca Samarani qui, avec sa grâce, a montré à nos élèves la force incroyable de cet art. Ce genre de compétition nous pousse toujours plus loin et aide à créer de vrais champions.

Our Louaizeans celebrated St. Barbara with joy, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences. From beautifully crafted handmade costumes to wheat boiling, atayef tasting, cheerful parades, and lively dancing.
